Job summary

Edgenta FIRST Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead our facilities portfolio, ensure service excellence, and drive business continuity across multiple sites. Qualifications

• Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Property Management, or Business Administration.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in facilities management or operations.
• Proven ability to manage portfolios, contracts, finances, and client relationships.
• Experience overseeing teams, vendors, and multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of SLA/KPI management, health and safety, and risk mitigation.
• Commercial acumen with budgeting, revenue, cost control and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key liaison between the company and customers on operational matters.
• Lead portfolio operations, performance, incident management, and contract profitability.
• Develop and implement the Operations Excellence Blueprint with risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee financial performance, billing, revenue collection, and cost control.
• Manage vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Conduct facility inspections, ensure HSE, compliance, and handover requirements.
• Drive customer engagement, retention, and contract renewals.
• Provide senior leadership to site teams and coordinate with Head Office.
• Ensure timely management reporting and dashboards using Edgenta Smart Connect.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Act as the key focal point between the company and customer for all operational matters, ensuring business continuity and service excellence.
• Lead overall portfolio operations, team performance, incident management, and achievement of contract revenue, profitability, and efficiency targets.
• Develop and implement the annual Operations Excellence Blueprint, including critical success factors, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee financial performance, billing, revenue collection, cost management, and profitability in line with approved business targets.
• Develop and manage vendor performance programmes, monitoring contractors and service providers against contractual SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and audits, ensuring site standards, health and safety, regulatory compliance, and handover requirements are maintained.
• Drive customer engagement, retention, contract renewals, variation orders, and service delivery through effective operational management.
• Lead business development initiatives with the Business Development team, including proposal preparation, billing forecasts, contract renewals, and new business opportunities.
• Provide senior leadership to site teams, including manpower planning, recruitment, development, deployment, performance management, and coordination with Head Office.
• Ensure accurate and timely management reporting, operational dashboards, data analysis, and effective implementation and utilisation of Edgenta Smart Connect.

Requirements

• Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in facilities management, property management, integrated facilities management, or operations.
• Proven experience in portfolio/site management, contract management, financial management, and customer relationship management.
• Strong experience managing teams, vendors, contractors, and multiple site operations.
• Good knowledge of operational excellence, SLA/KPI management, compliance, health and safety, and risk management.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, revenue, cost control, profitability, billing, and contract variation/renewal.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage senior clients and business partners.
