Job summary

Practimax Sdn. Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Executive to lead our factory's machinery maintenance, technical systems and compliance functions.

You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across machinery and facilities, drive ERP, automation, and digitalization projects, develop SOPs and training, and ensure regulatory and customer standards while supporting operations and R&D.

Qualifications

• Analytical and troubleshooting skills required.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, software and automation systems is essential.
• Strong communication to drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across machinery, equipment and facilities.
• Drive ERP, automation and digitalization projects in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, operating instructions and machine parameters.
• Ensure compliance with local authority and customer standards.
• Design and deliver technical training for operators and maintenance staff.
• Monitor machine efficiency and downtime, conducting root-cause analysis to reduce wastage.
• Provide technical consultation and troubleshooting support to Sales, Production, and customers.
• Participate in R&D and new product development to evaluate new technologies.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Executive to lead our factory's machinery maintenance, technical systems and compliance functions. In this role, you will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across machinery, equipment and facilities, drive ERP, automation, and digitalization projects.

Key responsibilities

Execute maintenance planning and documentation for machinery, equipment and facilities, resolving electrical, mechanical, software and hardware issues to maximize uptime.

Drive ERP, automation, and digitalization, coordinating with vendors and internal teams on system integration.

Develop and maintain SOPs, operating instructions, machine parameters and technical workflow documents.

Ensure compliance with local authority and customer standards.

Design and deliver technical training for operators and maintenance staff, assessing competency and development needs.

Monitor machine efficiency and downtime, driving root-cause analysis to reduce wastage and rejection rates.

Support Sales, Production and customers with technical consultation and troubleshooting.

Participate in R&D and new product development, evaluating new technologies and manufacturing methods.
