Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Executive to lead our factory's machinery maintenance, technical systems and compliance functions. In this role, you will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across machinery, equipment and facilities, drive ERP, automation, and digitalization projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance planning and documentation for machinery, equipment and facilities, resolving electrical, mechanical, software and hardware issues to maximize uptime.
• Drive ERP, automation, and digitalization, coordinating with vendors and internal teams on system integration.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, operating instructions, machine parameters and technical workflow documents.
• Ensure compliance with local authority and customer standards.
• Design and deliver technical training for operators and maintenance staff, assessing competency and development needs.
• Monitor machine efficiency and downtime, driving root-cause analysis to reduce wastage and rejection rates.
• Support Sales, Production and customers with technical consultation and troubleshooting.
• Participate in R&D and new product development, evaluating new technologies and manufacturing methods.
