Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or equivalent is required.
REM Type 1 certification is required; Type 2 preferred.
Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV distribution, SCADA/PQMS and energy management.
Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, RCA/CAPA, QA/QC, T&C and project handover.
Knowledge of EHS, HIRARC and ISO 14001/45001/50001.

Coordinate, monitor and maintain electrical distribution systems across HV/MV/LV, including transformers and UPS.
Perform PM/PdM, troubleshooting, fault analysis, RCA and CAPA.
System Owner for Electrical SCADA & PQMS – monitor power quality and energy consumption.
Coordinate inspections and close findings.
Maintain electrical procedures, PI, checklists, LOTO, SLDs, drawings and test reports.
Support projects through design review, QA/QC, T&C and handover.
Manage energy performance and statutory reporting to regulatory bodies.
MES Coordinator for Electrical & Fire Fighting Systems – manage PM schedules.
Manage contractors and support shutdowns, energization and emergency troubleshooting.
Internal Auditor for ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 and support ISO 50001.

Job responsibilities

Coordinate, monitor and maintain HV/MV/LV electrical distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, busway, UPS, AVC, generators, protection and earthing systems
Perform PM/PdM, troubleshooting, fault analysis, RCA and CAPA to ensure electrical reliability and continuous plant operation
System Owner for Electrical SCADA & PQMS (K20 & K5) – monitor power quality, electrical loading and campus-wide energy consumption
Coordinate Competent Engineer inspections and close all findings and recommendations
Maintain electrical procedures, PI, checklists, LOTO records, SLDs, drawings and test reports
Support projects through design review, QA/QC, T&C, line walk, punch-list closure, buy-off and handover
Manage energy performance, compliance and statutory reporting to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)
MES Coordinator for Electrical & Fire Fighting Systems – manage PM schedules and maintenance activities
Manage contractors and support shutdowns, energization, emergency troubleshooting and power recovery
Serve as Internal Auditor for ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 and support ISO 50001 Energy Management System

Job Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant Facility Electrical experience, preferably in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing
Minimum Registered Energy Manager (REM) Type 1 certification; REM Type 2 preferred
Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV distribution, SCADA/PQMS, power quality, protection and energy management
Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, RCA/CAPA, QA/QC, T&C and project handover
Knowledge of EHS, HIRARC and ISO 14001/45001/50001
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and coordination skills
Able to support 24/7 plant operations and emergency response
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems.
Hands-on maintenance and operational troubleshooting experience.
Good project management and problem‑solving skills.
Effective communication and English proficiency.
Strong teamwork, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑oriented.
