Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the safe and efficient operation of electrical and facility equipment, ensuring on-time maintenance and reliable plant performance within a edible oils manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Electrical Engineering degree with 5–6 years of hands-on experience, expertise in process instrumentation, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-6 years hands-on experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in process instrumentation and edible oils processing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, smooth operation of electrical and facility equipment.
• Monitor scheduled maintenance and analyze downtime causes.
• Maintain system documentation per ISO 9000, GMP, Food Safety, and safety policies.
• Prepare reports and analyze E&I data to develop solutions.
• Coordinate SAP-PM tasks and contractor management for E&I systems.

Lead a safe and smooth operations of the entire Electrical and facility equipment performance.

Monitoring all schedule maintenance been carried out on time and analyzing causes of down time.

Maintain system documentation procedure, policy, work instruction and scope of work, in line with ISO 9000, GMP, Food Safety, Workplace safety policy & CI

Prepare report, analyze E&I data, develop optimal solutions and lead implementation.

Planning, liaise, issuing, maintain document, performance monitoring and ensure any related SAP-PM and task/project assign are completely done in cost effective, correctly and timely as per schedule.

Manage contractors in new E&I system installation, improvement, repair and service work.

Identify risks and hazards during operation and responsible to all safety procedure and good housekeeping standards.

Manage good communicates regularly with all maintenance team, concerning maintenance issue, training and development matters.

Liase with utilities provider or government regulatory bodies such as TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga & DOSH and etc, to ensure all relevant laws, statutes and regulations related to electrical system and installation are compiled.

Skills & Requirements:-

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-6 years hands on experience operational trouble shooting in manufacturing industry
• Experienced in Process Instrumentation, verification, calibration, in edible oils processing plant
• Good leadership, people manager & communication skills
