Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Facility Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a similar technical role.
• Familiar with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in a commercial setting.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health regulations and building codes.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills; good communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of buildings systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical).
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment or systems to minimize downtime and maintain safety.
• Monitor and record readings from utility meters and report discrepancies.
• Respond to service requests and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as required.
• Collaborate with contractors and external vendors to oversee maintenance, repairs, or installation of new equipment, ensuring safety compliance.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs to extend asset lifecycles and reduce repair costs.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health regulations and company protocols.
• Assist in emergency repairs or participation in special projects.
