Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Facility Technician in Kuala Lumpur to troubleshoot and repair electrical and ELV systems, while monitoring M&E contractor activities during projects and renovations. The role includes inspecting lighting, performing maintenance, and ensuring uptime of building facilities and equipment.

The incumbent will adhere to SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements, working closely with the Facilities Manager and team to support hospital operations and energy

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical or M&E related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Aptitude in teamwork.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
• Able to handle stress and maintain a cheerful disposition.
• Active, alert and organized performer.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Electrical Systems and ELV systems.
• Monitor M&E contractors during new projects and renovations.
• Check all lighting and replace tubes, bulbs, and fixtures as required.
• Implement and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) per standards.
• Ensure uptime of Building, Facility and Equipment and oversee safety compliance.
• Liaise with Facilities Manager for major decisions related to building and facilities.
