Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a facility maintenance professional in Ayer Keroh, Malaysia. The role involves overseeing maintenance, logs, asset management, and safety while supporting cost-down initiatives and improvement projects.

The ideal candidate has a Cert/Diploma in Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of experience, with knowledge of electrical, HVAC, clean room, and building maintenance. Proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Cert/Diploma in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Experience: minimum 5 years in related field.
• Knowledge: MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to local law and regulatory requirements for permits and licenses related to facility operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment checklists, services & inspection records.
• Assist to maintain department fixed assets equipment and inventory spare parts.
• Monitor, report and record facility faults or hazards; ensure cleanliness of workplace.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facility systems and report abnormalities or potential failure.
• Execute in-house preventive maintenance; assist in first-line troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist with cost-down activities and facility department improvement projects.
• Any other ad hoc duties as required by supervisor.

• Adhere to local law and legal regulation requirement to maintain permits, licenses, etc related facility operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment checklists, and services & inspection records.
• Assist supervisor to maintain the department's fixed assets equipment's and inventory spare part management.
• Monitor, report and record any facility faults or hazards to supervisors promptly and ensure cleanliness of workplace.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facility systems, and report abnormalities or potential failure.
• Execute in-house preventive maintenance activities, assist in 1st attend of troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist to execute the cost down activities and facility department improvement projects assigned.
• Any other ad hoc duties by immediate supervisor as required.

Job Requirements

Qualification : Cert / Diploma in Engineering, Science or equivalent and with minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field are required for this position.

Experience : Knowledge in facilities system operation and maintenance including Electrical, HVAC, LEV, PCW, CDA, Clean room (C1K – C100K), RODI, Raw & Waste Water, Fire Fighting and Building Maintenance.

Skill : Candidates who possess a certificate A0- A4 from Suruhanjaya Tenaga will be an added advantage, Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an added advantage & Knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Language : Good verbal and communication skill in English and Malay
