Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform daily checks and repairs on building facilities. You will conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on AHU/WCPU, fire protection, plumbing, and civil systems, ensuring compliance with Malaysian laws.

The role includes on-call duties and teamwork in a facility-heavy environment. The ideal candidate holds an MLVK certificate and at least one year of industrial experience, with strong troubleshooting and plant-equipment

Qualifications

• Must have at least MLVK Certificate in Air-Conditioning / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial experience in related field.
• Skills in plant equipment, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance checks on all building facilities systems and update daily checklist.
• Repairs all building facilities, equipment/systems breakdown.
• Handle routine, weekly, and monthly servicing of Mechanical & Electrical facilities such as Air-Conditioning Building System (AHU/WCPU), Fire Protection System, Civil & Structure, Plumbing & Sanitary.
• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance as per the schedule on all facilities systems/equipment.
• Ensure operations and maintenance of electrical engineering plant and facilities comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga Act, Safety & Health Act, and relevant Malaysian laws.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
• Perform on-call / Standby duties as per the monthly schedule.
• Undertake other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job description

1. Perform daily maintenance checks on all building facilities systems and update in daily checklist.

2. Repairs all building facilities, equipment/systems breakdown.

3. To obtain routine inspection, weekly inspection, and monthly servicing of the Mechanical & Electrical facilities such as Air-Cond Building System (AHU/WCPU), Fire Protection System, Civil & Strucure, Plumbing & Sanitary and relevent system in building.

4. Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance as per the schedule on all facilities systems/equipment.

5. To ensure operations and maintenance of electrical engineering plant and facilities are done effectively and comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga Act, Safety & Health Act, and any other relevant Act under Malaysian law.

6. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

7. Perform on-call / Standby duties as per the monthly schedule.

8. Undertake other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
