Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a facilities coordinator to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for warehouse and office facilities in Klang. You will coordinate with contractors, vendors and service providers while evaluating quotations and project scopes.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of safety requirements, and proficiency in MS Office. AutoCAD, MS Project or CMMS knowledge is a plus as you support CAPEX/OPEX planning and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction Management, or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in contractor/vendor coordination.
• Good knowledge of facilities maintenance and safety requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Project or CMMS knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for warehouse and office facilities.
• Manage maintenance requests and conduct site inspections when required.
• Coordinate renovation, refurbishment and facility improvement projects.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, suppliers and service providers.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, cost estimates and project scopes.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, budget and timeline.
• Coordinate servicing of facility systems such as HVAC, fire protection, lighting, CCTV, access control, dock levellers and roller shutter doors.
• Assist with CAPEX & OPEX planning, budgeting and procurement activities.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, asset records, service reports and project documentation.
• Ensure facility security, building safety and statutory requirements are properly maintained.
• Prepare maintenance and project updates and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and facility improvements.
