Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Facilities Project Manager in Senai, Johor. This 12-month contract oversees strategic facilities and infrastructure projects across planning, budgeting, governance, execution and handover of major upgrades.

Requirements include an engineering degree and 8–15+ years in facilities/projects, with experience in large upgrades across manufacturing or industrial settings. Strong budgeting and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, Building Services, etc.)
• 8–15+ years of Facilities, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management experience
• Experience managing large infrastructure upgrades in manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, data centers, logistics hubs, pharmaceutical sites, or large commercial buildings
• Strong budgeting and stakeholder management experience
• PMP/PRINCE2 certification would be advantageous
• Ability to manage a portfolio of facilities capital projects and develop project roadmaps

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of facilities capital projects and develop project roadmaps aligned with business needs
• Lead infrastructure upgrades involving HVAC, electrical, water, fire protection, STP, and other critical building systems
• Control project budgets, forecasting, cost management, and financial governance
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, EHS, IT, Security, and external contractors
• Drive project governance, risk management, compliance, and executive reporting
• Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, regulatory, and operational-readiness requirements

The role owns the full project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, governance, execution, commissioning, and handover of major infrastructure upgrades.
