Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive facilities maintenance technician to service HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems in Selangor. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement preventive measures to keep equipment running smoothly.

The role requires a Certificate/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical fields and at least two years of hands-on experience, with knowledge of tools and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical field or equivalent vocational/technical qualification.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in facilities maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools, plus diagnostic and repair equipment.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs and troubleshooting of building systems and equipment.
• Skilled in painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs and electrical work.
• Safety-conscious and able to work autonomously with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other facility equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to facility equipment and systems, including identifying and repairing faults, leaks or malfunctions.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and minimize breakdowns.
• Handle minor repairs and maintenance of the building structure (doors, windows, flooring, walls).
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools and supplies; order replacements as necessary.
• Respond to facility emergencies promptly (power outages, leaks, heating/cooling failures).
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, servicing and repairs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to facility staff and supervise contractors on maintenance projects.
