Job summary

Neofrontier Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking an Operation cum Maintenance Officer to manage day-to-day operations and the upkeep of our properties and facilities. You will oversee both operational efficiency and the physical maintenance to ensure high standards of quality and safety for tenants and guests.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Facilities Management or related field with 1–3 years in facilities management.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in FM or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in facilities management or property maintenance.
• Knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, AC).
• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise tasks.
• Proficiency in using property management software and maintenance tracking systems.
• Strong communication with tenants, contractors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned properties and ensure systems operate optimally.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on building infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural).
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance with contractors and service providers.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimise disruption.
• Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs and inspections for compliance.
• Monitor utility consumption and implement cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and building regulations.
• Supervise contractors and suppliers on procedures and safety protocols.
• Prepare routine reports on property conditions and performance.
• Liaise with guests or tenants to address concerns and ensure satisfactions.
