Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee a field service team responsible for efficient and safe maintenance at client locations. The role sits within Engineering and Technical Services, delivering preventive maintenance and repairs.

You will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, manage training, and ensure license compliance while reporting performance metrics to the Site Manager. Strong leadership and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and oversee recruitment.
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules, and cross-train staff.
• Manage training requirements including skill assessments and scenario training.
• Communicate with clients and facility occupants to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements; prepare audit records.
• Maintain metrics on maintenance tasks and report to Site Manager.
• Facilitate meetings to prioritize work orders and downtime windows.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day issues affecting operations.
