Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. You will oversee a field service team responsible for the efficient and safe maintenance of client locations, supporting CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions division.

You will lead daily activities, manage training, ensure compliance with licenses and certifications, and maintain performance metrics while driving client satisfaction and expanding contract scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring performance and retention.
• Ability to guide exchange of sensitive information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities, set schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff.
• Manage all technical training requirements including skill assessments and scenario training.
• Communicate with clients and facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction and expand contract scope.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements; prepare records for audits.
• Maintain metrics on maintenance task performance and provide timely reports to Site Manager.
