Job summary

Talent Recruit represents a client in the e-commerce logistics sector seeking a Maintenance Technician/Junior Building Technician for a Klang facility. You will handle faults, process work orders, and perform general repairs to keep warehouses running smoothly.

The role requires 1 year of maintenance experience, SKM Level 3 or equivalent, a valid GDL license, and strong problem-solving abilities. Night-shift callouts may be required; travel to nearby sites possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance or handyman works.
• Graduates with a Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM Level 3) or equivalent are highly encouraged to apply.
• Possess a valid GDL Driving License (required to drive the company van for work purposes).
• Able to act quickly and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle and troubleshoot facility breakdowns quickly to prevent operational disruptions.
• Manage and complete all work orders within the stipulated time (SLA).
• Perform general repair works including plumbing, flooring, changing lights, ceiling, and painting.
• Place orders for facility maintenance goods and supplies.
• Attend to emergency cases outside of working hours (at night) if needed.
• Perform other general maintenance duties assigned from time to time.
• Travel to other locations for maintenance purposes when necessary.

Education

They are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Maintenance Technician / Junior Building Technician to ensure the smooth operation of their warehouse facilities. This role is suitable for hands-on candidates who are proactive, reliable, and capable of preventing operational disruptions in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Location: Bukit Raja, Klang, Selangor

Benefits:

• Basic Salary: RM 2,500.00 / month
• Contract Type: 1-Year Contract (Initial 3-month probation + 9-month extension)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• GDL License Incentive:
  • Option A: GDL Skills Allowance of RM 100/month for the first 6 months (for those who already have a GDL License).
  • Option B: Reimbursement of GDL license cost up to RM 250 (one-off payment for those who do not have a GDL License yet).
• Statutory contributions provided (EPF, SOCSO, and EIS).
