Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with semiconductor or data center experience to oversee our Kuala Lumpur and Senawang offices.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in facilities management, strong knowledge of building systems, and excellent budget control and stakeholder communication. You will lead maintenance, supplier management, and sustainability initiatives to ensure a safe, productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategies to maintain and improve the company's facilities, including buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Coordinating maintenance activities, such as cleaning, repairs, and renovations, to ensure the facilities are well-maintained and meet all relevant safety and compliance standards.
• Managing the procurement of equipment, supplies, and services required for the day-to-day operation of the facilities.
• Overseeing the work of external contractors and service providers, ensuring they meet the company's requirements and deadlines.
• Monitoring and optimising the use of energy, water, and other resources to promote sustainability and reduce costs.
• Collaborating with the wider team to identify and implement improvements to the facilities, enhancing the overall work environment.
• Ensuring the facilities comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Providing regular reports and updates on the state of the facilities and any issues or projects underway.

We are seeking an experienced Semiconductor or Data Center Experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur & Senawang. As our Facilities Manager, you will oversee the efficient and effective management of our office and facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and productive environment for our employees.

• Significant experience (8+ years) in facilities management, preferably within the Engineering industry
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in budget management and cost control to ensure the efficient use of resources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and service providers
• A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
