Job summary

Hup Fatt Brothers Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician cum EHS Officer in Malaysia to service, troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment. The role ensures machines and spare parts are installed and maintained to prevent downtime with a proactive safety focus.

The candidate should hold a Diploma in a relevant field, have Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiency, and a NIOSH certificate is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with a high degree of commitment.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, troubleshooting and repair on facility and production equipment.
• Ensure production machines and spare parts/work-aids are installed and functioning.
• Handle emergency repair and touch-up to minimize downtime.
• Oversee all activities relating to facilities and building maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of machinery.

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN CUM EHS OFFICER

To perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing.

Servicing facility and production equipment.

Ensure production machine and associated spare part and work-aids are installed.

Responsible for emergency repair and touch-up for factory related machines in order to minimize downtime.

In charge of all activities relating to facilities and building maintenance.

To perform routine inspection and maintenance of machineries.

• Chain hoist, air receiver and compressor

Any other ad-hoc jobs as assigned from time to time.

Key Skills and Qualification

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in relevant field or equivalent.

Certificate under NIOSH will be an added advantage.

Ability to work independently with a high degree of commitment.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

Preferably 1 year experience specializing in the related field is required for this position.
