Job summary

Sarawak Club is seeking a Maintenance Executive to oversee day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations, ensuring safety, functionality and aesthetics across the club.

You will plan preventive maintenance on M&E systems, manage vendor contracts, supervise maintenance teams, monitor budgets, respond to emergencies and uphold regulatory compliance in Sarawak. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Building Management or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs and servicing schedules for M&E systems and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance and technical issues promptly to minimize disruption.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors and service providers for quotations, monitor quality, schedule and safety of works.
• Ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements including authorities.
• Monitor projects for risks, delays, and cost variances with management-ready recommendations.
• Conduct regular inspections and address defects and safety hazards.
• Assist in preparing maintenance budgets and monitor related expenses.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate resources to restore services quickly.
