Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of HVAC, cleanroom, and Building Management System (BMS) facilities in accordance with company procedures, facility programs, and regulatory requirements.
Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Precision Air Handling Units (PAHUs), ventilation systems, and related mechanical equipment.
Monitor and maintain cleanroom environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, differential pressure, and air cleanliness, to ensure compliance with operational and customer requirements.
Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure all building services and critical facility systems are functioning efficiently and reliably.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, cleanroom, and BMS equipment to maximize system reliability and minimize downtime.
Conduct routine inspections, system performance checks, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment abnormalities.
Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and vendors for equipment installation, maintenance, testing, calibration, and system upgrades.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, GMP/ISO requirements (where applicable), and the Company's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, maintenance records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, and equipment reports.
Provide technical support and guidance to Facilities, Production, Engineering, and EHS teams on HVAC, cleanroom, and BMS-related matters.
Support facility improvement projects, energy-saving initiatives, equipment upgrades, and commissioning activities to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.
Coordinate and follow up on inspections and audits conducted by DOSH, DOE, BOMBA (Fire Certificate), and other relevant authorities, ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
Perform any other ad hoc duties or projects assigned by the superior from time to time.
Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Facilities Operations & Maintenance or a related field.
Good knowledge of HVAC systems, cleanroom facilities, Building Management Systems (BMS), and fire protection systems, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with preventive and corrective maintenance practices, facility operations, and relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to facilitate communication with a diverse workforce and external stakeholders.
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
