Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineer to support manufacturing operations in Penang. The role requires hands-on management of HVAC, cleanroom environments, and site utilities, with emphasis on reliability, GMP/ISO compliance, and energy efficiency.

You will lead preventive maintenance programs, coordinate shutdowns, manage contractors, and drive continuous improvement in a regulated healthcare manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in facilities engineering within manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in HVAC, cleanroom environments, and utility systems.
• Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and shutdown management.
• Hands-on recertification, HEPA filter replacement, validation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on facility and utility equipment.
