Job summary

SCM Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA Inspector to perform CMM-based checks on rubber and plastic components. The role requires hands-on use of CMM equipment, including Mitutoyo systems, and recording results accurately.

Laboratory-style attention to measurement standards, with support for the QA team on client requisites. Fresh graduates with basic engineering knowledge are welcome to apply. The position may involve onsite duties in Johor Bahru.

Qualifications

• Diploma/technical education in a relevant field.
• 3 years hands-on experience with CMM inspection (Mitutoyo preferred).
• Familiarity with CMM measuring standards.
• Fresh graduates with basic engineering knowledge are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform check and inspection of rubber and plastic components using CMM and handheld tools.
• Operate Smartscope when available.
• Ensure client specifications and standards are met.
• Organise and record inspection results on checklists and provide timely reports.
• Maintain traceability of inspection records for audits.

Ability to use Smartscope is preferred.

Ensure client specifications is achieved and meet standards required.

Organise and record inspection results on checklist and provide report promptly.

Able to upkeep inspection records traceability during audit.

Requirements

• Technical/Diploma education with relevant field
• 3 years hands-on working experience with CMM (Mitutoyo) Inspection preferred
• Familiar with CMM measuring standards
• Able to support QA Team on client’s requisites regarding measurements
• Fresh graduate with basic knowledge of engineering are welcome to apply
