Job summary

Sena Diecasting Industries is seeking a FA inspector to perform First Article inspections on new and transferred tooling. You will work closely with engineers on drawings and ensure timely FA samples for PDE, while developing and maintaining CMM programs and measurement methods.

CAD skills will be used to verify drawing details and support fixture calibration. The role requires SPM or engineering certification and practical CMM operation experience, with a focus on accurate reporting and

Qualifications

• Able to operate CMM and perform FA inspection on new and transferred tooling.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to verify part details.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform FA (First Article) inspection for all new products and prepare tool reports.
• Collaborate with engineers in new product development drawings.
• Ensure FA schedules and reporting monthly and weekly activities for on-time submissions.
• Develop/monitor/maintain CMM programs and measurement methods.
• Use CAD software to confirm part drawing details.
• Work with engineers on problem analysis for new FA parts.
• Prepare FA schedules for monitoring on monthly and weekly activities.
• Prepare FA reports after measurements are completed.
• Support measuring calibration for fixtures using CMM.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

1. To perform FA (First Article) inspection for all new product, whether from new tooling, transferred tooling or replacement tooling and prepare tool report.

2. To work closely with engineers in new product development drawings.

3. To ensure FA schedules for monitoring on monthly and weekly activities to ensure on time FA sample submission to PDE.

4. To develop/monitor/ maintain CMM program and checking method using various inspection equipment.

5. Able to use CAD software to confirm part drawing details.

6. To work closely with engineers in problem analysis for new FA parts.

7. To prepare FA schedules for monitoring on monthly and weekly activities.

8. To prepare FA reports after FA measuring completes.

9. To support for measuring calibration for fixtures by using CMM.

10. To perform any other jobs or duties as and when required by superior.

Minimum Skill:
1. Preferably to be able to operate CMM.
2. Preferably to be able to read technical drawings.
3. Minimum SPM holders or any certificate in Engineering field.
