Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Penang to set up QC fixtures, perform measurements, and support QA/QC teams. The role requires 2+ years in QC, knowledge of CNC measurement, and the ability to verify part expiry dates and FAI dimensions. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.

Work involves daily inspection activities, calibration checks, and collaboration with QA/QC colleagues to meet audit standards and maintain product quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Control with CNC measurement and quality inspection.
• Able to work overtime.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Set up QC test equipment, tools and jig for daily inspection.
• Perform maintenance checks on QC test equipment to ensure calibration is within period.
• Handle daily incoming parts CNC measurement.
• Incoming parts XRF measurement and support expiry date verification.
• Handle new parts (FAI) dimension measurement and visual inspection.
• Co-operate with QA & QC teams and provide guidance when needed.
• Support QC teams to meet internal and external audit standards.

Set-up test equipment, tools & jig for QC daily inspection.

Perform maintenance checks on QC test equipment and tools to ensure all equipment and tools is within the calibration period.

To handle daily incoming parts CNC measurement.

Incoming parts XRF measurement & support incoming parts Exp. date verification.

To handle new parts (FAI) dimension measurement & Visual inspection

Co-operate with QA & QC team member and provide guideline to QC inspector when was needed.

Support QC teams to achieve internal and external audit standard requirement.

Job Qualification:

Candidate must possess at least a SPM, Professional Certificate, diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (industrial) or equivalent.

At least 2-year(s) of working experience in the related field (Quality Control) knowledge of CNC measurement and quality inspection

Able to support overtime.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
