Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a diligent quality professional in Ipoh to inspect castings and finished goods for visual and dimensional defects, recording test results and defect logs. The role requires interpreting technical specs and maintaining precise measurement records to ensure product quality.

The successful candidate will report discrepancies promptly, adhere to SOPs and safety regulations, and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to support manufacturing quality goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum certificate or diploma in mechanical/industrial engineering.
• Experience: 1–2 years in a similar industry.
• Skills: Ability to read technical specs and use basic precision measuring tools.
• Work conditions: Standing and inspecting products.

Responsibilities

• Product Inspection: Inspect casting/ finished goods for defects.
• Documentation: Record test results and defect logs accurately.
• Discrepancy Reporting: Notify superior when deviations or thresholds are exceeded.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow SOPs and safety regulations.
• Other duties as instructed.

• Product Inspection : Inspect casting/ finished goods for visual and dimensional defects.
• Documentation : Record test results and defect logs accurately.
• Discrepancy Reporting : Notify Superior / Production teams immediately when quality deviations or threshold limits exceeded.
• Safety & Compliance : Adhere strictly to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and Safety Regulations.
• Any other work related tasks as instructed by the Superior.
