Job summary

BREAD MAISON is seeking an experienced F&B Retails Assistant Operations Manager to oversee multi-site F&B operations, drive profitability and ensure service excellence across all locations. You will manage costs, uphold food safety standards and lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in F&B operations management, preferably overseeing multi-site operations.
• Proven track record in managing P&L, cost control and budgeting in a retail or F&B environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations and health compliance standards.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to motivate, train and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Proficiency in using operational management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple sites as required.
• Flexible schedule required; weekend and public-holiday shifts expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple F&B outlets, ensuring adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitor and manage operational costs, budgets and financial performance across all assigned sites to achieve profitability targets.
• Implement and maintain food safety, hygiene and health standards in compliance with local regulations and company protocols.
• Lead, recruit, train and develop operational and management teams across multiple locations, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Manage supplier relationships, inventory control and stock management to optimise costs whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Liaise with senior management to report on operational performance, challenges and opportunities for growth.
• Implement revenue-generating initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive sales performance across all locations.
• Manage crisis situations and operational issues promptly to minimise disruption to service delivery.
• Any other duties directed from time to time by the Management
