Qualifications

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced F&B Retails Assistant Operations Manager to join BREAD MAISON. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in overseeing multi-site food and beverage operations across our portfolio. As Retails Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent service excellence, operational efficiency, and profitability across multiple F&B establishments. This role offers the opportunity to drive operational improvements, implement best practices, and lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences whilst maintaining stringent quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple F&B outlets, ensuring adherence to company standards, policies and procedures
• Monitor and manage operational costs, budgets and financial performance across all assigned sites to achieve profitability targets
• Implement and maintain food safety, hygiene and health standards in compliance with local regulations and company protocols
• Lead, recruit, train and develop operational and management teams across multiple locations, fostering a culture of excellence
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Manage supplier relationships, inventory control and stock management to optimise costs whilst maintaining quality standards
• Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, service delivery and operational efficiency
• Liaise with senior management to report on operational performance, challenges and opportunities for growth
• Implement revenue-generating initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive sales performance across all locations
• Manage crisis situations and operational issues promptly to minimise disruption to service delivery

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of experience in F&B operations management, preferably overseeing multi-site operations
• Proven track record in managing P&L, cost control and budgeting in a retail or F&B environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations and health compliance standards
• Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to motivate, train and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and implement operational improvements
• Proficiency in using operational management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field is preferred
• Flexibility to travel between multiple sites as required
• Flexible schedule required; weekend and public-holiday shifts expected
• Any other duties directed from time to time by the Management
