Job summary

Bake With Yen, a leading baking ingredients retailer and F&B supplier in Malaysia, seeks an experienced F&B Outlet Manager to oversee daily operations of a restaurant venue at Subang Airport, ensuring profitability and high service standards.

You will manage front-of-house and back-of-house activities, monitor P&L, control COGS and labor costs, hire and train staff, and drive revenue targets while upholding SOPs and food safety.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of supervisory or management experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or retail operations.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is often preferred.
• Strong leadership, basic financial/budget literacy, inventory tracking (FIFO methods), and effective communication.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to be based at Subang Airport.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day front-of-house and back-of-house activities, ensuring smooth service, proper opening and closing procedures, and adherence to SOPs
• Monitor store P&L, control cost of goods sold (COGS) and labor costs, and implement strategies to achieve monthly revenue targets
• Hire, train, schedule, and mentor supervisors, service crew, and kitchen staff to build a high-performing team
• Oversee stock counts, manage vendor coordination and deliveries, and execute waste-reduction strategies
• Champion exceptional customer service and resolve complex feedback or complaints professionally
• Enforce strict food safety, hygiene regulations, and sanitation protocols at all times
