Job summary

Kawan Food Berhad is seeking an Export Sales Executive based in Shah Alam to lead distributor relationships, forecast sales, and drive export strategies. You will design territory plans, coordinate product launches, and align marketing with sales goals.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in export sales within the food industry, strong client management, and a track record of delivering revenue growth across regions. On-site role with opportunities to engage at exhibitions and markets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Sales & Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in export sales, marketing or business development in food industry.
• Experience applying market research and audit conclusions to decision-making.
• Proven client and customer account management skills.
• Ability to handle global/regional assignments and cross-country interactions.
• Strong communication and strategic thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain distributors for assigned territories and visit sites regularly.
• Forecast sales volume and manage budgets for territories.
• Assist in preparing territory budgets and select distributors.
• Develop market objectives and drive export sales and product launches.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to optimize products.
