Job summary

EE-Lian Plastic Industries is seeking an Export Coordinator to join our export team in Penang. You will manage end-to-end export activities, from order receipt to delivery, coordinating with overseas customers and service providers to ensure timely shipments.

You will prepare shipping documents, liaise with freight forwarders, and monitor shipments while maintaining accurate records. Fresh graduates with related qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years' export coordination, shipping, logistics, or sales coordination.
• Familiarity with export documentation and DagangNet ePCO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Export Manager in daily export sales and operational activities.
• Coordinate overseas customer orders from confirmation through shipment and delivery.
• Prepare accurate export documentation including Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists and other shipping documents.
• Arrange container bookings and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters and logistics service providers.
• Monitor vessel schedules, shipment progress and delivery timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and submit COO applications through DagangNet ePCO where applicable.
• Communicate with overseas customers regarding order confirmation, shipping arrangements, documentation requirements and delivery status.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and promptly follow up on any documentation or delivery issues.

In this role, you will support the end-to-end export process—from receiving customer orders and preparing shipping documents to coordinating logistics and monitoring deliveries. Key responsibilities

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in export coordination, shipping, logistics, customer service or sales coordination.
• Experience in export documentation, container booking, international shipping procedures or DagangNet ePCO will be an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, particularly when dealing with overseas customers and logistics providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to manage multiple orders, shipments and deadlines.
• Responsible, proactive and comfortable working with different internal departments and external service providers.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
