Berjaya CKE International Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a driven Export Sales & Business Development Specialist to grow international markets, secure new customers and opportunities, and strengthen relationships with overseas distributors and partners. Based at our corporate office in Kuala Lumpur.
You will manage quotations, negotiate terms, and coordinate export orders from order confirmation to delivery, while traveling overseas for exhibitions and market development.

Basic Salary: RM4,000 ~ RM5,000 + Sales Commission
Berjaya CKE International Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a driven and commercially minded Export Sales & Business Development Specialist (International Markets) to join our Sales & Operations – Export Division.
Based at our Corporate Office in Wisma CKE, Cheras, you will play an important role in growing our international business by developing new overseas markets, securing new customers and business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with existing distributors, dealers and customers.
This role is ideal for a B2B sales professional who enjoys developing new markets, building international business relationships, commercial negotiation and turning opportunities into sales.
Develop new customers, distributors, dealers and project opportunities across assigned international markets.
Identify and pursue new countries, market segments and business opportunities to expand the Company's international presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing overseas customers, distributors, dealers and business partners.
Develop an active pipeline of prospects, projects and potential business opportunities.
Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, competitor activities, pricing trends and emerging opportunities.
Support the development and execution of market-entry and business-development plans for assigned countries and territories.
Achieve assigned monthly and annual export sales targets.
Manage overseas customer enquiries and prepare quotations, pricing proposals, product presentations and commercial offers.
Follow up proactively on enquiries, quotations, projects and purchase orders to maximise sales conversion.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial terms.
Understand customers' business and project requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
Maintain regular communication with overseas customers and business partners to strengthen long-term relationships.
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments according to agreed credit terms.
Coordinate after-sales matters and assist in resolving customer complaints or product-related issues.
Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Coordinate export orders from order confirmation through production, shipment and delivery.
Monitor order progress and proactively address issues that may affect customers or delivery schedules.
Ensure export transactions comply with Company procedures and relevant international trade requirements.
Maintain accurate customer, quotation, order and sales information in the Company's ERP and/or CRM systems.
Participate in overseas exhibitions, trade shows, customer visits, business meetings and product presentations.
Conduct customer and distributor visits to identify opportunities and strengthen business relationships.
Identify potential distributors, dealers, project customers and strategic partners in targeted markets.
Gather market intelligence and provide recommendations on market opportunities, competitor activities and potential risks.
Represent the Company professionally when engaging with international customers and business partners.
Prepare sales forecasts, business-development plans, market reports and customer visit reports.
Monitor sales performance against targets and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain and regularly update the sales pipeline for prospects, quotations and projects.
Track quotation status and conversion progress to ensure timely follow-up.
Provide Management with regular updates on market developments, customer activities and key business opportunities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in export sales, international business development, B2B sales, key account management or overseas market development.
Experience in commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, foodservice equipment, industrial equipment, machinery or other technical products will be an added advantage.
Good command of written and spoken English, as the role requires regular communication with international customers and business partners.
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
Commercially driven with a strong interest in developing new markets and securing new business.
Proactive and persistent in following up on leads, quotations and business opportunities.
Able to work independently, take ownership and manage multiple international customers and opportunities.
Results-oriented with a strong sales and business-development mindset.
Willing and able to travel overseas for customer visits, exhibitions, trade shows and market-development activities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and/or CRM systems will be an advantage.
Knowledge of export documentation, shipping procedures, Incoterms and international payment terms will be an added advantage.

This is more than an export coordination role.
