Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a logistics intern to support the export shipping functions within our Penang, Malaysia facility. You will assist with shipping documentation, coordinate with freight forwarders, and ensure compliance with customer and export requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role offers hands-on experience in our logistics team, including generating documents in SAP, understanding Incoterms, and maintaining audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in understanding and complying with LMW MY customs regulations.
• Assist in interpreting customer shipping requirements and AE export guidelines.
• Generate shipping documents (Delivery Notes, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists) using SAP.
• Process shipments and update records in internal systems and portals.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders based on Incoterms and bookings.
• Compile and scan export documents and submit monthly shipment reports.
• Organize and maintain export documents for traceability and audits.
