Job summary

Just Energy Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to assist the Shipping Manager with end-to-end sea freight import/export activities, bookings, and documentation.

You will coordinate with liners, forwarders, customers and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant cargo clearance. The role requires 1-2 years in shipping/import/export, strong computer literacy, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM/ STPM/ Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree, in any field.
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in shipping / import & export (sea freight) preferred.
• Computer literate is a MUST.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shipping Manager with import/export (sea freight) bookings and document handling.
• Coordinate with ship liners, forwarding agents, customers and internal teams on shipment requirements.
• Ensure documents and operations comply with customs and current regulations for smooth cargo clearance.
• Update container movement planning and shipping documentation.
• Maintain records and filing of shipping documents (sea freight).
• Complete tasks as assigned by Superior from time to time.
