Particular attention should be given to building sustainable growth in strategic regions such as ASEAN, GCC/Middle East and other identified growth markets.
Develop structured business plans for major distributors and strategic accounts covering annual targets, product coverage, pricing, promotions, inventory, market development and customer activities. Coordinate with Quality, Production and relevant departments to ensure complaints, technical issues, shortages and delivery concerns are investigated and resolved promptly.
Work closely with Finance to monitor customer credit limits, payment terms, overdue accounts and collection risks. Ensuring commercial growth does not create unacceptable credit exposure.
Work with Marketing to develop appropriate export-market activities including exhibitions, distributor promotions, digital campaigns, product launches, dealer programs and sales materials.
Lead, coach and develop the Export Sales team. Establish clear individual KPIs and accountabilities, conduct regular performance reviews and develop team capabilities in negotiation, market analysis, customer management, forecasting and business development.
Provide management with concise monthly reporting covering sales versus budget, GP performance, forecast, order book, market/customer performance, new business pipeline, overdue receivables, competitor activities, key risks and required management decisions.
