Job summary

Cardiac Vascular Sentral (Kuala Lumpur) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive, Information Technology to manage the hospital's IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, VMware, storage, backup, and security hardening. The role also covers network administration, Microsoft 365, AD, Exchange Online, and ongoing IT maintenance.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT or related field with minimum 5 years of IT infra experience.
• Hands-on Windows Server, VMware, storage, backup, and server hardening.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and enterprise Wi‑Fi.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, AD, Group Policy, Exchange Online, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical/virtual servers, VMware, storage, backup, and server hardening.
• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, and enterprise Wi‑Fi.

Manage physical/virtual servers, VMware, storage, backup, server hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and preventive maintenance

Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, and network connectivity

Administer Microsoft 365 Admin Center, user accounts, licenses, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, and Group Policy

Troubleshoot hardware and system issues, support clinical/business applications, implement infrastructure projects, technology refreshes, and hospital expansion requirements

Support cybersecurity controls, IT audits, MSQH requirements, documentation, incident management, vendor coordination, and Group IT initiatives

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience – Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field, with minimum 5 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.

Infrastructure Expertise – Strong hands‑on experience in Windows Server, VMware, physical/virtual servers, storage, backup, hardware, and server hardening.

Network & Wi‑Fi Skills – Good knowledge and practical experience in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, firewall, and enterprise Wi‑Fi.

Microsoft & Cybersecurity Skills – Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, endpoint security, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and access control.

Professional Skills – Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, vendor‑management, and project‑management skills; able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide on‑site/standby/on‑call support when required.
