Job summary

Pecca Group Berhad is seeking a Research and Development Executive to help design products, prepare specs, and document technical details based on customer needs. You will coordinate trials and evaluations to ensure quality and compliance, and work with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams during development and implementation.

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering degree or related field, with at least 1 year of experience; fresh graduates are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Automotive, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic technical knowledge of product development, technical drawings, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and/or Adobe Photoshop skills are an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams; Mandarin speaker proficiency is a bonus due to work culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing product designs, samples, specifications and technical documentation based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate product trials, testing and evaluation to ensure products meet quality and technical requirements.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and other departments during product development and implementation.
• Prepare and maintain R&D reports, drawings, product specifications and development records.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities related to product design, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on product development requirements when necessary.
• Ensure R&D activities are completed according to project timelines and company requirements.
