Job summary

Plenitude Berhad, a public-listed company in property development, seeks a proactive liaison officer to manage submissions for CCC/CMGD, monitor contractor documents, and ensure works adhere to contracts and schedules. The role requires 3–5 years of authority liaison experience, strong English and Malay communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple contractors on-site in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Based in Kedah, you will prepare weekly progress reports, attend project meetings and support

• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with government authorities.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with authorities, consultants and operators for submissions and approvals up to CCC/CMGD.
• Monitor progress reports, drawings and documents submitted by contractors.
• Ensure works follow contract drawings/specifications and complete on schedule.
• Coordinate works between contractors on site and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly site progress reports and attend project meetings.

Job description

Liaison with relevant authorities, consultants and operators for all the submissions and approvals within time frame for all matters leading up to Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and Certificate of Making Good Defects (CMGD).

Monitor and check all progress reports, drawings, documentation, specifications submitted by contractors.

Execute and monitor to ensure works are carried out in accordance with the contract drawing and specification, completed within schedule.

Ensure the contractor follows the relevant authorities' requirements or standards and instruction given by the consultant.

Highlighted problems at site or discrepancy in design and drawing propose cost saving solution before implementation.

Maintain good records and prepare documentation required for the planning and execution of the project assigned.

Site monitoring of completed infrastructure works pending handover and under the defects liability period (DLP).

Implement the coordination of works between different contractors on site.

Attend critical cases on site on legal, authority or third-party issues.

Prepare and coordinate sites work for Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and Certificate of Making Good Defects (CMGD).

Prepare weekly site progress report.

Attend project meetings and submit reports to Management regularly.

Carry out duties as assigned by Projects Manager, General Manager or Management.

To assist in ad-hoc assignments from time to time.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor degree in public relation, communication or other related field or its equivalent would be an added advantage.

Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience in authority liaison.

Good verbal and written communication skill in English and Malay.

Ability in establish and maintain effective working relationship with government authority.

Willing to work in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
