Job summary

Malaysia Airports Berhad seeks an Executive - Project Management MASB (Civil - Building & Structural) to manage projects across the Sarawak region. Based in Kuching, you will report to the PMO in HQ, Sepang, and oversee design reviews, construction monitoring and contract administration.

You will provide technical input, supervise inspections, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering/ Building/ Construction or equivalent.
• CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive project management, monitoring and administration for projects undertaken by PMO within the Sarawak region.
• Assist on technical aspects of projects including reviewing design, authorities liaison, construction monitoring and contract administration.
• Assist with providing technical input and scopes review for Capex projects.
• Assist in reviewing design proposals by Consultant/Contractor.
• Perform technical inspection and verification of the quality of work during construction and post-construction.
• Ensure clear timely liaison with the relevant personnel involved in the inspection, verification, rectification works engaged by the company to ensure effective execution of job briefs.
• Arrange for defect rectification works to be carried out during DLP or within the stipulated time frame.
• Assist on technical inspection and support to handle client complaints relating to defects, identifying the nature and root causes of such defects before and during DLP.
• Undertake any other tasks and assignments as directed by the Superior/PMO Management.
• To ensure the undertaken projects are completed within the predetermined time, cost and quality concurrently with the ongoing changes, requests and requirements.

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Position is to be based at Kuching (Sarawak) and reporting to the Project Management Office (PMO) in HQ (Sepang)


• Carry out comprehensive project management, monitoring and administration for projects undertaken by PMO within the Sarawak region.


• Assist on technical aspects of projects including reviewing design, authorities liaison, construction monitoring and contract administration.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Assist with providing technical input and scopes review forCapex projects.


• Assist in reviewing design proposals by Consultant/Contractor.


• Perform technical inspection and verification of the quality of wokr during construction and postconstruction.


• Ensure clear timely liaison with the relevant personnel involved in the inspection, verification, rectification works engaged by the company to ensure effective execution of job briefs.


• Accountable to comply with the approvesd QMS, occupational safety, health and environment standards towards meeting clients' expectations and fulfilling regulatory requirements.


• Arrange for defect rectification works to be carried out during DLP or within the stipulated time frame.


• Assist on technical inspection and support to handle client complaints relating to defects, identifying the nature and root causes of such defects before and during DLP.


• Undertake any other tasks and assignments as directed by the Superior/PMO Management.
