Job summary

Sunway Big Box Sdn Bhd in Iskandar Puteri is seeking a focused Procurement professional to manage end-to-end processes, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate terms. The role supports continuous procurement improvements and requires a degree in a related field with at least 1 year of experience.

Based at Sunway Big Box Iskandar Puteri, the position may involve travel to Sunway Kluang Mall and HQ as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of procurement experience.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing best practices.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement process.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and internal approval procedures.
• Prepare monthly procurement reports.
• Support and continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
• Manage other ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

Willing to travel Sunway Kluang Mall in weekly/ bi-weekly basis and travel to HQ office as & when required.
