Job summary

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing suppliers for all department-related materials and services at Sunway Big Box Sdn Bhd. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with company procurement policies.

Base location is Sunway Big Box Sdn Bhd Iskandar Puteri. Willing to travel to Sunway Kluang Mall on a weekly/bi-weekly basis and to HQ as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of procurement experience.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing best practices.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare monthly procurement reports.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end procurement process.

Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.

Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.

Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.

Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and internal approval procedures.

Prepare monthly procurement reports.

Support and continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Manage other ad hoc assignments as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 1 years of procurement experience.

Good knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing best practices.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.

Position will be base at Sunway Big Box Sdn Bhd Iskandar Puteri.

Willing to travel Sunway Kluang Mall in weekly/ bi-weekly basis and travel to HQ office as & when required.
