Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Executive/Personal Driver to join our team at Uchida MK Sdn Bhd. As a professional driver, you will provide safe, punctual, and courteous transportation services to key personnel within the organisation. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of company executives, supporting their productivity and maintaining a professional image for Uchida MK Sdn Bhd.

What you will be doing

Executive Transportation

Transport the President, Managing Director, or executive guests safely to corporate offices, hotels, airport hubs, private meetings, and social engagements.

Adjust driving style to provide a safe and comfortable ride that allows the company Executives to work or rest seamlessly in transit.

Provide assistance with loading and unloading luggage, documents, or equipment.

Route Planning & Logistics

Pre-screen and scout routes with GPS navigator, accounting for traffic patterns, construction zones, alternate detours, and parking/drop-off protocols.

Ensure punctual arrival for all scheduled appointments by planning optimal routes.

Monitor flight statuses and real-time transit updates to ensure zero delays for departures and arrivals.

Maintain a log of daily travel routes, mileage, fuel usage, and expenses

Vehicle Maintenance & Care

Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean & safe condition (clean interior/exterior, optimal tire pressure, fluid levels, full fuel/charge).

Manage scheduled maintenance, inspections, road tax renewals, and insurance documentation.

Stock vehicle cabin with required amenities (premium water, tissues, umbrella).

Discretion & Security

Maintain Strict confidentiality regarding all conversations, phone calls, documents, and schedules observed while on duty.

Practice strong situational awareness and basic defensive driving standards to protect passenger safety at all times.

What we’re looking for

• Non-smoker, with at least 5 years of experience as an executive driver, corporate chauffeur, or personal driver for senior leadership; experience in a Japanese multinational corporation is preferred.
• Able to communicate fluently in English with Japanese Expatriates and Guests
• Valid Malaysian driving license of the appropriate class with a clean driving record
• Physically fit to perform driving duties, satisfactory vision with correction if necessary, demonstrated alert and safe driving habit.
• Excellent knowledge of Klang Valley roads and traffic patterns
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a courteous and professional attitude
• Reliable, punctual and responsible approach to work
• Good vehicle maintenance knowledge and basic mechanical awareness
• Flexible and willing to work outside regular business hours to accommodate schedules as required

Preference will be given to candidates residing near the office in HICOM Shah Alam.
