Job summary

2C2P in Malaysia seeks a hands-on Merchant Operations Support to manage merchant onboarding, Merchant ID applications, and payment account setup. You will coordinate with acquiring banks, ensure merchant configurations meet requirements, and support fraud/finance teams on investigations.

The role handles Level 1 merchant queries and daily operations, based 100% onsite at Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. Suitable candidates have 1–2 years FinTech experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
• 1–2 years in FinTech, e‑commerce, or payment gateway operations.
• Familiar with Merchant IDs (MIDs) and acquiring bank processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to handle Level 1 merchant queries.

Responsibilities

• Submit applications for new Merchant ID to acquiring banks and follow up application status.
• Setup new bank merchant profiles and Merchant Plug-in for payment gateway.
• Setup new merchant accounts according to onboarding requirements and parameters.
• Provide help for fraud/finance/accounting team about transaction investigations.
• Other common tasks for day-to-day operations.
• Manage level 1 merchant queries (non-technical).
