Job summary

Allgreen Properties Limited seeks a Leasing professional to drive retail leasing at Johor Bahru City Square. You will source tenants across retail, F&B, lifestyle, and services, build strong tenant relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to support occupancy and revenue targets.

Responsibilities include market research, presenting spaces and packages, maintaining a leasing pipeline, and managing renewals and negotiations with tenants.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Retailing, or Property Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in retail or mall leasing.
• Knowledge of the shopping mall industry and market trends.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Team player and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and rental targets.
• Source and identify potential tenants across retail, F&B, lifestyle, entertainment, and service sectors.
• Conduct market research on retail trends, rental rates, competitor malls, and consumer preferences.
• Contact and follow up with prospective tenants to generate leasing opportunities.
• Present available retail spaces, rental packages, facilities, and leasing information to prospective tenants.
• Prepare & support monthly leasing and management reports covering occupancy, rental income, leasing activities, renewals, vacancies, and pipeline.
• Follow up on prospective tenants from enquiry through negotiation, Letter of Offer, tenancy agreement, and commencement of tenancy.
• Maintain an updated leasing pipeline and provide regular updates on prospective deals.
• Assist in managing lease renewals and maintaining good relationships with existing tenants.
• Monitor upcoming lease expiries and follow up with tenants to support timely renewal.
• Respond to tenant enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and other departments on leasing matters.
• Monitor vacant units and support initiatives to minimize vacancy and downtime.

• Maintain a strong and balanced tenant mix that supports the mall's positioning, customer profile, and commercial objectives.


• Build strong relationships with tenants, retailers, and internal departments to support smooth leasing and tenant operations.

Key Requirements

Job Location: Johor Bahru City Square Mall.

• Possess a minimum of Diploma qualification or Degree in Marketing, Retailing, Property Management or equivalent.


• At least 3 years’ experience in retail or similar capacity within a shopping center or property leasing would be an added advantage.


• Knowledge and understanding of the shopping mall industry and market knowledge of retail performance and trends.


• Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal and relationship management skills


• A team player and able to work independently under minimum supervision.


• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Application.


• Preferably with car license under class D.
