B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to manage invoice-to-pay processes and ensure timely, accurate recording. You will validate documents, resolve discrepancies with suppliers and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

Process invoices, credit notes, and related accounting transactions accurately and within agreed timelines, following established procedures and internal controls.
Validate supporting documents and accounting information, identify discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
Reconcile supplier accounts and assigned general ledger accounts, investigate open items, and maintain complete and accurate accounting records.
Perform period-end closing activities and prepare accurate internal and external reports for the assigned area of responsibility.
Maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials in line with operational and control requirements.
Support service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement by following agreed procedures, tracking recurring issues, and proposing practical improvements.
Complete other duties assigned by the Supervisor that are related to the role or required by operational needs.
Manage assigned Invoice to Pay activities with limited supervision, resolve non-routine transaction issues, and coordinate follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
Analyze recurring errors, overdue items, and process exceptions, and implement approved corrective or process improvement actions.
Prepare and deliver process training and provide day-to-day guidance to less experienced team members when required.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or a recognized professional accounting qualification.
Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable. Candidates with experience in a Shared Services environment will have an added advantage.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
