Job summary

Media Prima is seeking an Executive, Information and Communication Technology to provide effective IT application support and system solutions for Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Bhd, ensuring smooth business operations.

You will participate in requirements gathering, documentation, and full SDLC tasks, including design, development, testing, and maintenance of software, with emphasis on SQL Server, C#, and .NET.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of SDLC experience in analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance.
• Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server and/or C# Programming and/or .NET.
• Able to use digital communication tools (Email, Chat, Video Conferencing).
• Team player with good analytical, problem-solving, and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily IT application support for systems used in Media Prima's operations.
• Analyze issues raised by users and coordinate with users for root cause and solutions.
• Monitor SLA for internal IT or Vendors.
• Gather user requirements for project implementation.
• Propose new business workflow.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation.
• Perform full system implementation cycle for enhancements or new systems.
• Perform programming tasks for internal system development or enhancements.
• Create queries and reports to automate data extraction for users.
• Design solutioning for system Change Requests.

To provide effective IT application support and system solutions that ensure smooth business operations, while contributing to system development, enhancements, project implementation, and continuous improvement in line with user and business requirements.

Job responsibilities

• Provide daily application support for systems used in Media Prima's business operations, mainly in Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Bhd.
• Analyze and identify issues raised by users of the system and coordinate with users to identify root cause and solutions
• Monitor the SLA based on the issue raised for internal IT or Vendors
• Gather user requirements for project implementation
• Propose new business workflow
• Prepare functional and technical documentation
• Perform a full system implementation cycle for system enhancements or new system implementations
• Perform programming tasks according to users' requirements for internal system development or enhancements
• Create queries and reports which automate extraction of data accessible by users
• Design solutioning for any system Change Request

Job requirement

• Degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process in analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of software is preferred
• Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server and/or C# Programming and/or Dot Net
• Able to utilize digital communication and collaboration tools to perform tasks effectively (e.g. Email, Chat/Instant Messaging, Video Conferencing)
• Team player with good analytical skills, problem solving skills, well-organized and proactive attitude
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
