Job summary

Shopee is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist in Kuala Lumpur to manage day-to-day HR tasks across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and performance management to offboarding.

You will support employees and managers on people-related matters, ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies, and help implement Centre of Excellence initiatives such as Learning & Development, Talent Management, Employer Branding, and Compensation & Benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven track record of providing effective support and guidance on HR matters.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day HR tasks across the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding and performance management to compensation & benefits, employee grievances, and offboarding
• Support employees and managers on people-related matters, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies
• Support the implementation of initiatives from the Centre of Excellence, such as Learning & Development, Talent Management, Employer Branding, and Compensation & Benefits when necessary
