Job summary

Shopee is seeking a proactive Recruiter to join the People team in Kuala Lumpur. You will partner with hiring managers across departments to understand talent needs and drive the end-to-end recruitment process for high-volume roles.

Job Description:

• Partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders from various departments within the organisation to understand the different business functions/needsand execute the recruitment process
• Experience in implementing the full cycle recruitment process for high-volume roles and bringing the best talent on board
• Customise creative methods to optimise the process of sourcing, screening and selection of ideal talents through various platforms
• Design and implement initiatives to engage and attract both active and passive candidates
• Manage and maintain the recruiting pipeline, including determining resource status and needs, coordinating recruiting events and sourcing activities, assessing and managing referral processes with internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members in various initiatives in the enhancement of employer branding in various areas and departments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or relevant recruitment experience in a fast-moving industry is preferred
• Experience in high-volume recruitment (experience in an external recruitment agency and handling mass hiring is highly preferred)
• Able to converse in English & Bahasa Malaysia fluently is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Highly motivated and energetic, with a positive attitude and strong eagerness to learn
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Proactive problem-solver, resourceful in handling challenges
