Senior Executive/Executive (Hostel)
Get to know the role:
Under the supervision of the Manager and Assistant Manager, you will research, source, and negotiate suitable properties to become a company hostel, set up the hostel, manage JTK matters, etc. Leasing will perform all responsibilities as an integral coordinator between landlord and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle company hostel pre‑tenancy and post‑tenancy matters such as issuance of letters of offer and tenancy agreements, collection of deposits, follow‑up on signing of agreements, and handing over of premises.
- Ensure acceptance of tenancy agreements and deposit payments are completed within the required timeframe.
- Attend tenancy‑related matters including negotiation, renewal, approval, and handing.
- Coordinate with landlords on rental payments, renewal of leases and refund of deposits upon lease expiry.
- Monitor all tenancy document activities to keep them up‑to‑date and completed on time.
- Prepare and maintain tenancy agreements, management reports, and other lease transaction documents.
- Research, source, and negotiate suitable properties to become a company hostel.
- Conduct takeover/handback of the company hostel with the landlord and internal departments.
- Liaise with landlords regarding unit issues, liaise with JMB for any staff or landlord‑related issues, and handle JTK matters.
- Perform other ad‑hoc tasks as required by management from time to time.
You should have:
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies, Estate Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing and the leasing environment.
- Good communication skills with the ability to comfortably deliver effective communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
