Job summary

Agrobank in Malaysia seeks an Executive for Halal & KKM Certification to provide certification support and advisory services for halal and KKM programs. The role includes developing advisory programs, preparing documentation, and supporting performance reporting.

You will assist in readiness assessments, data collection, and the preparation of proposals and management reports, while contributing to Halal principles for home-based businesses and supporting ACE events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science/agriculture/food tech/halal management or related field.
• Experience during studies in editing, entrepreneurship, halal regulatory, consultation/advisory services.
• Ability to prepare label design, reports and proposals.
• Ability to express policies, tasks, and Bank image orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform certification support and advisory services for halal and KKM for agro, food and non-food clients.
• Assist in developing and monitoring Halal/KKM advisory for the certification program.
• Assist in developing a Halal/KKM coaching program to facilitate certification.
• Assist in Halal and KKM certification readiness assessment for agro, food & non-food clients.
• Assist in preparing Halal & KKM Certification documentation (manuals, SOPs, process flow charts, materials lists, suppliers and product labeling).
• Assist in collecting data, feedback and performance information of entrepreneurs for reporting.
• Assist in preparing proposal papers, slides and management reports.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Halal & KKM Certification Unit.
• Contribute to development of Halal principles and procedures for home-based businesses.
• Assist in preparing and presenting reports on Halal development activities related to home-based businesses.
• Facilitate and support the ACE event/program.

Executive, Halal & KKM Certification is responsible for performing certification support and advisory services for agro business, food and non-food clients seeking Halal and KKM certification.

Assist in developing and monitoring Halal / KKM Advisory for the certification program.

Assist in developing a Halal/ KKM coaching program to facilitate certification.

Assist in Halal and KKM certification readiness assessment for agro business, food & non-food clients.

Assist in the preparation of Halal & KKM Certification documentation, including Halal Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flow charts, a list of raw materials and suppliers and product labelling.

Assist in collecting data, feedback and performance information of entrepreneurs for monitoring and reporting purposes.

Assist in the preparation of proposal papers, presentation slides and management reports.

Provide administrative and operational support to the Halal & KKM Certification Unit.

Contribute to the development of Halal principles and procedures for home-based businesses.

Assist in preparing and presenting reports on Halal development activities related to home-based businesses.

Facilitate and support the ACE event/program.

QUALIFICATIONS

A recognized bachelor's degree in Science, Agriculture, Food Technology, Halal Management and other related fields, or equivalent experience.

At least related experience during studies in editing, entrepreneurship, food & halal regulatory, consultation / advisory services.

Ability to prepare label design, reports and proposals.

Ability to express both orally and in writing the policies, tasks, and image of the Bank in all activities.

Ability to support team members proactively and build positive working relationships.

Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills in tasks given, including financial and performance analysis.

Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
