iFAST Global Hub.ai seeks an Executive for Global Legal, Risk and Compliance Services (HK Services) to oversee KYC reviews, AML procedures, and regulatory compliance across initiatives. You will set up standard operating procedures, monitor regulator interactions, and support management with compliance guidance in a fast-paced fintech environment.
The role requires a degree with honours, up to 2 years in risk/compliance, and strong English with Mandarin/Cantonese communication abilities.
iFAST is a fintech wealth management platform headquartered in Singapore, providing a comprehensive range of investment products and services to financial advisory firms, financial institutions, banks, internet companies, multinational companies, as well as retail and high net worth investors in Asia.
Conduct KYC reviews, corporate accounts on-boarding, name-screening, and other AML procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide compliance advisory to new business initiatives
Set-up compliance framework and assist in set up standardized operating procedure for new business processes and projects
Follow up on the field work of regulator’s inspection, investigation, and routine information requests, including but not limited to the SFC, IA, MPFA and HKEx.
Assist in routine liaison with local regulators, including but not limited to the SFC, IA, MPFA and HKEx.
Manage timely submission of regulatory returns, filings, and documentation.
Monitor regulatory developments and changes in laws and regulations and ensure that the company is compliant with all requirements.
Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
Investigate and respond to compliance-related issues, including complaints, incidents, and breaches.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance programme for the company, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
Perform compliance audit work as second-line of defence of the company
Provide guidance and support to management and business teams on compliance-related matters.
Handle other compliance duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Bachelor Degree in any discipline with 2nd Upper Class Honours and above.
Up to 2 years of working experience in Risk and Compliance
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Able perform well in a high-pressure environment against tight timelines.
Excellent command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese to effectively communicate with Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking internal or external parties.
Independent, analytical, meticulous and self-motivated.
Willing to work on Malaysia Public Holiday when necessary.
Open to travel overseas.
